Amanda Butler earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where studies included marriage and family therapy and depth psychology. She received her Bachelors degree from Utah Valley University.

Amanda believes that a caring and genuine therapeutic relationship can assist people in living a more meaningful, joyful, and productive life. Therapy provides a non-judgmental space in which to explore ways of navigating life’s stresses and challenges, find freedom from depression and anxiety, and connect more deeply with oneself. Her approach is person-centered, gentle, direct, and practical, with an emphasis on finding hope and meaning even in the midst of suffering. She strives to create a safe space in which clients can address any difficulties they are experiencing and connect to their inner strength.
Amanda works with couples and individuals using a variety of modalities. Her areas of special interest include helping clients who are experiencing relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, issues related to faith and spirituality, grief and loss, meaning and identity issues, career issues, and psychological aspects of health challenges.
