Porter Macey

LMFT, PhD – Clinic Director

Dr. Porter Macey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Utah State University, his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron and his Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University. Porter is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and is a supervisor in Marriage and Family Therapy, through which he provides supervision to new therapists. He has extended training and enjoys working with couples, families, and individuals.

Brandon Back


Brandon received his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and his Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science: Family Studies. He has worked with a diverse clientele over his years of clinical experience. Brandon is accepting and non-judgmental, which helps him build strong therapeutic relationships with his clients. He firmly believes that people need to feel loved, and he works collaboratively with his clients to help them achieve self-love and healing.

Dr. ElLois Bailey (the ‘s’ is silent) DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, IFMCP is a Board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Utah with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Utah. She has also earned the rigorous Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP) credential. She practiced as an inpatient psychiatric nurse for many years, working with adolescents, adults and older adults, and now works with clients of all ages to optimize mental health.

Anthony Browning, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Utah. He holds Masters degrees in both counseling psychology (MS from Utah State University) and Nursing (MSN from the University of South Alabama). Misty is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in treating couples, families, children, and individuals as they navigate through life and its’ challenges. She has worked extensively with children and families recovering from trauma. She has also received advanced training in working with couples and is working towards certification in Emotion Focused Therapy. As a wife and mother herself, she is passionate about helping children and families heal from trauma and helping them find a solid foundation for the rest of their life.

LCSW – Therapist

Tod Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has over 22 years of experience working with teenagers, adults, couples and families in a variety of clinical settings, including large corporate settings as well as small private practice settings. His strengths include treating anxiety, phobias, stress, PTSD, social anxiety/phobia, anger management, depression, and marital and family stress. As he works with his clients, he primarily focuses on cognitive/behavioral, neuro-linguistic programming, anxiety/stress/anger management, and mindfulness strategies to help them reach their full potential and peace of mind.

Nancy earned her Masters of Clinical Mental Health from Westminster College, where studies included a psychodynamic perspective as well as behavioral training. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Nancy believes that relationships have the most significant impact on happy and healthy living, and that working to improve relationships is both the hardest and most worthwhile effort one can make. Her developmental perspective is based in attachment work, or starting at ground zero to learn trust.

Michael Voss, D.O


Michael Voss DO graduated from the Chicago School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005 and completed his residency in Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center (UIC) in 2009. During his residency, Dr. Voss was awarded Teaching in Excellence status for psychiatry by the medical students of UIC. He also served as Chief Resident from 2008 to 2009, supervising a large training program of over 40 residents. Following residency, Dr. Voss joined the faculty of the University of Utah at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI) as a full-time inpatient clinician. During his first year at UNI, he was again awarded for excellence in teaching by the psychiatry residents in training at the University of Utah. Dr. Voss continues to work at UNI at present.

Sid is completing his clinical requirements at Amber Creek Counseling while he prepares to work full time in Utah as a mental health practitioner. Sid earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in business administration at St. Thomas University, and will earn another master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in August 2020 from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. Sid is a member of the American Counseling Association, and is an avid researcher of developing techniques and therapeutic practices in the counseling field.
