ElLois Bailey, DNP, APRN – Psychiatric Med Provider

Dr. ElLois Bailey (the ‘s’ is silent) DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, IFMCP is a Board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Utah with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Utah. She has also earned the rigorous Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP) credential. She practiced as an inpatient psychiatric nurse for many years, working with adolescents, adults and older adults, and now works with clients of all ages to optimize mental health.

Dr. Bailey is passionate about professional nursing and improving access to mental health care. She served as the President and Board Member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association-Utah Chapter and teaches in the graduate program at the University of Utah College of Nursing.

Along with studying traditional mental health care, Dr. Bailey has pursued a lifelong interest in functional, integrative, complementary and holistic health practices. She believes that mind and body are one and that focusing on the whole person, looking for and treating root contributors, addressing foundational health behaviors, and using natural strengths result in the best outcomes.
